What is the SMJFC Falcons “1980 CLUB”?

The "1980 CLUB" is a supporters group of fans and community minded businesses who support the SMJFC FALCONS with passion and pride. The "1980 CLUB" directly assists our local community junior football club in realising projects and initiatives that benefit both male and female junior football development as well as the wider community.

Who can join the “1980 CLUB”?

The SMJFC Falcons 1980 Club is open to all Falcons supporters including current and past players and families, community members as well as community minded businesses.

Why is it named the “1980 CLUB”?

1980 was when our first team (U10's) played under the name South Mandurah. SMJFC Club History

Why do we need a supporter group?

The 1980 Club is designed to further strengthen our current connections both within the club and through our wider community whilst encouraging passionate support for our teams. It provides opportunities for initiatives to reconnect with past players and families whilst further connecting with our local community and community minded businesses.

How much does it cost to join the "1980 Club"?

The 1980 Club has an annual supporters contribution of only $19.80 pa. This contribution is the same for individuals, families and businesses.

Why is there a cost to join?

The annual contribution helps provide the financial stability within the club to reduce the significant time burden on our volunteers when conducting fundraising. It costs over $150,000 per year to run our junior football club and every dollar of support helps. Your $19.80 contribution goes directly to support our local junior community football club in realising projects and initiatives that benefit both male and female junior football development as well as the wider community. We are 100% volunteer run and every dollar goes back into the club.
