A Coach’s son becomes a Coach
1. First Start Playing Junior Football

2008 - In Margaret River 2008, Year 3 & Year 4

2. Family Background

2010 - Family moved to Wannanup in 2010

2010-2019 Father Stuart coached SMJFC teams. Hamish's brother Anegus played right through to Year 11/12

3. Junior football

2010-2017 - played from 2010 Year 5 to 2017 Year 11/12

2015 - played in Year 10 Grand Final against Rockingham

2018 – Assistant coach for Year 11/12 Team

3. Senior Football

2019 - played in the 2019 Colts Team

2024 - played in Reserves premiership team

4. Coaching

2025 - helping out training one of our Junior teams

2026 - Missing this season with back injury, decided to apply to coach his own team Year 4 Blue

5. Coaching Aims

For the kids to have fun, learns the game skills and develop teamwork.

To strengthen the connection between the Junior and Senior clubs

6. General Comments

To be involved with a junior club that is developing a strong culure for kids to enjoy playing junior football
