What is NAB AFL Auskick?
NAB AFL Auskick is an introductory program and is the best fun kids can have being active! In weekly sessions kids will explore the world of AFL, building football skills and playing in a safe and super fun setting. Expect small groups, heaps of games and parent/guardian involvement.

What is NAB AFL Superkick?
NAB AFL Superkick is a modified version of AFL that focuses on skill development for our Year 2 players.
That means - tackle free (tag), highly social, shorter seasons and no additional training required.
You can expect one 60-minute session per week, split into approximately 15 minutes of skills before participants put those skills into action with up to 45 minutes of modified match play.

What is JUNIOR Footy?
YEAR 3 - YEAR 6
Junior Footy is about making friends and memories while having fun in a safe environment. Weekly training is followed by a match on the weekend. Junior footy has single and mixed-gendered teams available.

What is Youth Footy?
YEAR 7 - YEAR 12
Play for fitness, friendship, and fun while setting yourself up for the future. Youth Footy familiarises players with the full rules of footy, while dividing you by grade by school year so you’re comfortable in every game. Weekly training is followed by a game on the weekend.
Youth footy has single and mixed-gendered (Age Dependant) teams available and records results, ladders and has a finals series.

Priority Registration
Space at SMJFC is limited in years 4-12. We have a Priority Registration period for these age groups between November 1st and February 1st to allow our continuing players the opportunity to maintain their position in their teams.

The process to Transfer or register as a new player
PP-Year 3 Proceed to Step 3 (No Priority Registration for these Age Groups).
Step 1 : Year 4-Year12 Email the correct registrar for your School Year in 2026 with your request to transfer or register for SMJFC.
Step 2: Usually after Feb 1st you will receive confirmation from SMJFC that a space is or is not available.
Step 3: Proceed with registration / Transfer (Info) via PlayHQ
